Natalie Land, MS., LMFT-Associate
Child Development Specialist/Marriage & Family Therapist
I’m glad you are here, you don’t have to do this alone. You will find a real person sitting across from you who may not always have the “right” answer because often, there is no such thing. In fact, sometimes there is no answer, we just need someone to bear witness to our pain so that we don’t have to feel it alone. I have found this even in my own life, to be simply and profoundly true.
With my background as a Child Development Specialist and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Associate supervised by Erica Carpenter, Ph.D., LMFT-S, I possess a distinct advantage in my therapeutic practice—applying a comprehensive understanding of the multigenerational life cycle of individuals and families. My goal is for clients to learn that suffering is a part of the human condition, and it is often through life’s greatest trials that our courage grows and our character deepens. I am passionate about supporting clients to cultivate deeper, more meaningful relationships and find hope.
The foundation of my therapeutic approach is the belief that our relationships fundamentally shape and define us. This means that powerful healing can occur within the therapeutic relationship. My aim is to create a transformative therapeutic experience as “a human being concerned with engaging other human beings, therapeutically, around areas and issues that cause them pain, while always retaining great respect for their values and areas of strength” (Minuchin, 1981).
In my leisure time, I find joy in outdoor activities, hiking, watching football (Go Cowboys!), solving puzzles, reading, spending time with my rescue pit bulls, and embracing the wonderfully challenging role of being a parent to two fantastic teenagers.
